Hotel-Restaurant Vorauen in Klöntal

Amidst the charming scenery of the Glarner Alps, at the edge of Lake Klöntal, lies Hotel-Restaurant Vorauen, offering it’s guests hospitality and fine cuisine in pleasant surroundings.

Our hotel is also a popular venue for weddings, company/society meetings, family celebrations and pensioner excursions.

We can offer our guests overnight accommodation, including 2 double rooms, 2 singles and hostel accommodation with 22 beds.  The main restaurant holds 70, the meeting room/restaurant 50 and a large patio with children’s play area can accommodate up to 200.

Hotel-Restaurant Vorauen is 850 metres above sea level and is also an ideal destination for hikers, mountain tours and a meeting point for huntsmen, fishermen and horse riders.

The hotel is 12km from the town of Glarus and is open from the middle of April until the end of October.
